It has been more than 2 weeks since returning from the magical event called Craft NAPA. I feel blessed to have participated. I stood among friends, watched their connection to one another, ate chocolate covered strawberries and drank deep cups of coffee while also teaching and meeting new friends. This is the view from Pokey’sContinue reading “Stitches pile up, life and CraftNAPA: an update”

Having been diagnosed with cancer, going to doctors appointments,Continue reading “Love and Happiness, filling the well.”
Print, print, steam!
Today is a day for steaming, soaking and washing finished work. I will print as I am doing this. I have the windows open, the high will be 77 degrees today and printing in warmth is a good thing. What you see here is 4.5 yards of cloth (layered, three deep in newsprint). I loveContinue reading “Print, print, steam!”
QSDS
This last weekend I took a trip out to Columbus, Ohio to teach at QSDS, and boy was it a great experience. I worked with women who were focused, ready to learn, open to new information, and each and every one of them made really good cloth. I found companionship in Denise and Susan, whoContinue reading “QSDS”
