The new book looks marvelous, darling! Glad to hear you will be teaching online. I have a special needs child so it is almost impossible for me to travel to workshops and retreats, so online classes work perfectly for me. You look fantastic, Mellie. I took the survey–I think having a survey is a great idea to see what people are interested in. P.S. I think you could/should charge more than what you listed for the 1/2 hour mentoring sessions. But perhaps the price could also have “package deals” where it’s more for just one session, and s little cheaper if they buy 3 together, etc.

Melanie, I think the online class opportunity is a great idea. I live halfway across the country from you so the chances of getting to take a class with you is limited at best. You always have such interesting and challenging ideas for art quilts. Thanks for the opportunity to put my two cents in on your online projects.

Love the video and I can’t wait to receive my copy of your new book! I pre-ordered it on Amazon and delivery date is May 6. I’m not trying to condense time or anything like that–but I wish May 6 would come quickly. You are one of my favorite inspirational people not only because of your fantastic talent but because of your courageous fight with breast cancer. Brava to you Melanie! Took the survey – online classes is a great way to get ‘face’ time with an artist when it isn’t feasible to take every in person class available. Can’t wait for QBL though 🙂
