Teri Lucas is a quilter, teacher, quilt enabler and coach whose machine quilting skills are amazing. Check out her Insta and FB here. Teri is a good ‘in-person’ friend too. Her enthusiasm for our quilting community is catchy, while her encouragement to go farther and try new things is incredibly endearing. Teri introduced me to both Tiffany Hayes and Debbie Brown, two people who contributed great work for this Hop!

“I ended up using one of Debby Brown’s Cutie Patterns, Share and Share Alike. The Cuties are patterns I think you’d enjoy as they are simple, graphic and use fabric efficiently.
Why, oh why would I want to participate in a blog hop featuring the artistic stylings of Melanie Testa? It’s simply this: Melanie is a friend, one I’ve laughed heartily with. When she hugs, she hugs with her very being. When she creates her stuff speaks to this quilters heart. Yeah I know, seems like I’m going all fan girl here, and in a way I am.
There’s something deeper though, it’s about Melanie but it’s about the work she puts into doing that thing she does. In a way, I get that work, as it’s what I’m do when I free-motion machine stitch. It’s intense, all-in, and sometimes really frustrating. At the end there is something beautiful. For Melanie a (second) line of fabric one that speaks of her dedication to understanding printing, color, and quilting. This is, without a doubt, fabric I NEEDED for my collection.”
