Sew-plies Polka

I am off to teach at the GASC in Arlington Texas. I have my hand sewing and embroidery work all packed and ready to go. I, of course, am bringing all 3 Sew-plies purses. I am attached to them right now, I love them-they have become tiny backpacks with specific intention-to help me sew. I love the idea of them. I will have a 4 hour flight and I am have my Fuxion erasable pen.

I will have internet access. I will not be doing Flash Card Friday, that will resume next week.

  1. I don’t need to tell you to have fun, because I know you will!!! If you run into Rice, please give her a hug from me. Love the polka dot pants. You are so very beautiful. xoxo

  2. In regard to your article on Create Mixed Media, I use a blue erasable pen -kind of like a narrow felt pen, that also works well. I like the idea of a ballpoint though.

I am so excited by your idea of stitching words on fabric. I haven’t tried it yet, but soon. 🙂

  3. Melly! I love what you are doing here lately. Love the Japanese style and the boro-ness. Do you know the book Boro? I have been fascinated with this for some years now. I have drawers full of tiny objects. Now i NEED to make tiny selling kits!
